Joy Of Creativity

This short poem reflects on our thirst for creative moments, our search for such moments and the subsequent joy we feel when such a moment arrives.

There hath not been a prodigal so favored,
'tis the moment to be savored;
pulling the rabbit out of hat
is a dollop compared to this act.

Like a monk should I pray?
like a hunter would I prey?
to see you thunder in my way,
makes me wonder when's the day?

Your tryst with me is a boon from the Creator,
that saves me from the depths of a crater;
thus sprang joy akin to a new-born smile,
wish you could stay with me a while.
